Stiftung Pirolo - Instrumente für Musiker

In December 2006 a new nonprofit institution in the field of music promotion was founded in the lap of the International Trust Group. The Pirolo foundation wishes to give a continuous contribution in enabling musicians to play an instrument appropriate to their talent and required for their next career steps. The focus lays on bow instruments for young professional musicians with a clear reference to the Basel region.

For the establishment and the expansion of the instrument fund the acknowledged, voluntarily led and professionally administered foundation accepts donations, legates as well as instruments as donations or loans, with or without charge and uses them according to the foundation’s purpose. The foundation informs donators, favourers, friends, sponsors and interested musicians about its activities on a regular basis. They can follow the foundation’s activities by participating in concerts and other events.
Besides public concerts supported by the foundation there will be further concerts in the premises of itag.

The foundation Pirolo serves as an example to show how the comprehensive consulting approach of itag, and especially of itag Portfolio Management, can according to the client’s request cover also specific patronage, charitable work or projects of social interest besides the multiplication and preservation of one’s capital. When it comes to legal estate and hereditary regulations, tax-optimized structures, sponsoring through companies within the client’s sphere of influence, maintenance of foundations and financial as well as organizational configuration and finally the supervision of nonprofit institutions and projects, the interdisciplinary consulting approach of itag Advisory Services comes into operation.
