EU - Company Providing Hard- and Software Solutions for the Management of Power Supply Networks Needed for Electricity Based Mobility Seeks Growth Capital
An electronic device integration, infrastructure and software development company providing solutions (hard- and software) for the effective management of power supply networks for electric and plug-in hybrid and vehicles is seeking growth capital of EUR 2 to 4 m for its further business expansion. Founded in 2009 by two entrepreneurial engineers the company already generates sales in its home country and in its first export market and succeeded in building an excellent reputation in its present markets. In a next step the company plans to expand its operational activities, to further increase investments into R&D and to enter additional major European markets in 2012.
The company participates in a fast growing market as the number of electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles is expected to grow in Europe at an annual growth rate of almost 100% over the next three years, which will trigger a huge demand for effective power supply networks. The company has a competitive edge with regard to its ability to integrate hardware – even competitive products – into a supply network. Entering this promising market at an early stage and moving quickly will eventually enable the company to capitalize on its first mover advantages and to benefit from network effects deriving from an early on installed base. The revenue stream consists of product sales, royalties, software licenses and support services. The aim is to become a leading provider of system solutions in the European electricity based mobility market. The company envisages revenues exceeding EUR 20 m as of 2015 and expects an EBIT margin of well above 20%.
