While studying economics and law in Basel, Lukas Neubauer was also a partner and manager of an SME in the IT sector.  After completing his studies, he obtained a certificate of competence to practice in the legal profession in Basel, and then worked as a lawyer in a regional law office for several years.  He then spent a relatively long period at a large Swiss bank, in the Legal service and Compliance area, before joining International Trust in August 2005. Today Mr Neubauer heads the Legal Services unit and is also responsible for the Group's internal Legal, Risk & Compliance Department.
