After an apprenticeship as laboratory technician, Mr. Brenneis obtained the qualification for university entrance. This was followed by studying economics and business administration at the University of Basle where he took his degree as lic.rer.pol. After the study he was employed at the Pharma Division of Sandoz AG, Basle, as Head of Research Planning and later on as Managing Director of an affiliated company in Austria. This was followed by an appointment as Managing Director of a Swiss based company in the plastics and metal-working industry. Subsequently Mr. Brenneis was in charge of various executive functions at F. Hoffmann-La Roche AG, Basle, at least as Head of Infrastructure and Services. Mr. Brenneis has many years of experience in the areas of controlling and reporting, reorganization, process- and project management. In addition to his executive functions he was member of different pension fund committees. Mr. Brenneis is Managing Director of the itag Portfolio Management Ltd, thereby head of the portfolio management business.
