Dr. Konrad Annasohn (1945)

Dr. Konrad Annasohn grew up in Berne, and in 1971 completed his studies of economic science at the faculty of law and economic science at the university there. He subsequently worked for four years at the Research Institute for Leisure and Tourism of the University of Berne. In 1975, on the basis of his thesis “Attempt at a long-term forecast of tourist frequency in the Swiss mountain region”, he was awarded the degree Dr. rer. pol. (approx equivalent: PhD in Economics). Subsequently, further institute tasks in the areas of research and media science were entrusted to him. In October 1976, Dr. Annasohn joined ITAG. In November 1978, he was appointed secretary of the board of directors and, in June 1980, elected a member and delegate. In 1985, he became chairman of the managing board. From 1983 until 2005, Dr. Annasohn strategically led the group of companies together with his partner, Prof. Dr. Fritz Schumacher. With Dr. Annasohn’s functions as European Chairman of SCInternational (SCI), the network of international partnerships was continually nurtured and extended.

In 2005 the handover of the succession, both as the shareholder and the person responsible for management, to Mr. Pascal Böni (1967) was realized.
