Following studies culminating in a doctorate at the Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich, Mr Zwicky spent some time working and studying business administration in America. After five years as a business manager responsible for international licensing and technology and know-how transfer projects for refinery engineers UOP Process Intl. Inc. of Chicago, Mr Zwicky returned to Switzerland, spending 11 years as a vice president at Lonza and Alusuisse, first in the field, where he successfully achieved business growth through internal and external innovations in the specialty chemicals market, and later as head of the Group's global investment and technology services area. In 1993, Mr Zwicky became a founding partner of Arthur D. Little (Switzerland) AG, responsible for multicultural consulting for firms in the chemicals, life sciences and energy industries. His remit here included the acquisition and management of numerous projects (strategy development and implementation, technology and innovation management, organizational development, restructuring, mergers and acquisitions and the subsequent integration of the entities concerned). Mr Zwicky joined Remaco in 2003 as a partner.
