The internationally known industrial lawyer Dr. Hugo Neumann (1882-1962) was a member of the first board of directors of ITAG at the time of its foundation. Originally a lawyer and notary in Danzig, where he was also a senator, he moved his domicile and activity in the 1930s to Paris because of the increasing pressure of political conditions. From 1945 to 1948, he worked as a French legal advisor in the allied control council in Berlin. He presided the ITAG board of directors from 1956 until his death. In 1960, attorney Fritz von Steiger (1895-1978), well-known because of his numerous publications on Swiss company law, and long-time head of the Federal Commercial Registry Office, was attracted to join the board of directors as a member. He collaborated in the company’s highest organ until 1976.
