Dietmar Gundel studied Business Administration at the University of Bayreuth and did a Master in Management at ESCP Europe in Oxford, Madrid and Paris.  He was a member of the international M&A advisory team at Rothschild & Cie. in Frankfurt and Paris for four years and worked among others on transactions in the financial services, information technology, health care and retail sectors. He then moved into biotech. As a co- founder and CFO of CallistoGen AG and as member of the Executive Management  and VP Corporate and Business Development at The Genetics Company, Zurich, Gundel worked on venture capital fund raisings, pharma-biotech collaboration deals, the development of new business activities, M&A transactions and corporate restructurings. For the last four years, he worked as senior analyst at SAM Sustainable Asset Management where he advised on investments in international public healthcare companies. Since 2010 he is Associate Partner at Remaco. Gundel’s advisory focus is on international M&A transactions, succession planning and growth capital finance.
